1. As a surprise a little over a week ago, my wonderful girlfriend Kim bought me this beautiful old music theory book from an antiques store called, “The Apartment” on Valencia St.  It is really awesome though because it was printed in 1921 in New York, and originally priced at a whopping $3.00.  I really like hella old books though - this one exemplifies antiquity with its cream-tinted pages, and really cool looking emblem / crest on the back cover which I took a blurry photo of.  Its sort of a decoration in my room at the moment, sitting on the keyboard I need to stop being so lazy with.  Regardless, “The Apartment” has a bunch of other cool shit I saw first hand also about a week ago so I recommend it to any of the 6 followers who haven’t already visited =P

  3. This song is my new favorite of Jack Johnson, off of his new album - it can be extremely relaxing in the right mindset.  The man is a real great musician if you listen to the instrumental aspect of his songs, especially at the end when it all melts together like butter.
